Care

All our beautiful Ambient Lounge interiors fabrics are extremely high quality and built to last if we take good care of them. Here are some handy

Care Tips:

If your open weave fabric thread becomes loose, simply cut it off. Do not pull it. Dust is best removed using your hand vacuum with the appropriate attachment. Avoid harsh brushing and sharp objects (rings, buckles, toys) as it may cause snagging of threads. To avoid your bean bag fading, it is best not to expose it to direct sunlight. For best safety, Your furniture should be placed at least 50cm away from any heat source. During the first 3-6 months, bead filling/padding will compress slightly and may require top up. This is to be considered as normal wear and a good reason why you should use the best quality beads such as our Ultra-Bead. As tempting as it may be, armrests & backrests are not designed to take seating weight so please try to sit as conventionally as possible. To keep your bean bag furniture looking amazing, you should plump and shake it after use to the bead filling and fabric return to their initial appearance.

Washing & Cleaning:

The good news is that all of our interior fabric covers are warm machine or hand washable in cold or lukewarm water. Please always line dry after washing. Decant the beads using the Funnelweb system before washing and refill afterwards. For ease of care you may also spot clean most stains and scuffs using warm water or a high quality fabric cleaning kit. Fabric protection kits are also encouraged such as 3M Scotch Guard.

Repairs and Warranty:

Like anything in life problems can occasionally occur. If seam splits or tearing occur with reasonable wear and time - please check with our Australian team if that is covered under statutory warranty. You may email our friendly team with photos of the problem plus proof of purchase on info@ambientlounge.eu (Most small faults or tears are also easily repairable)

When should I top up my ambient lounge?

If your ambient lounge is looking flat or if you feel like it's losing shape & structure, this means that you might need to top it up. Don't forget to fluff your loungers as needed. Like other bean-filled loungers, it is normal for the filling to decompress after some time. When it comes to how soon you need to top up, it depends on the usage.

Most of our products are filled with Premium Micro-beads & Sustainable Dunlop Foam which make up our SoLuxe Filling. For optimal lounge experience, you can purchase bean bag filling here.

Can I use this outdoors?

Like most of our soft furniture, the Butterfly Sofa comes in our Outdoor Collection. Perfect for poolside lounging, garden spaces and more.

PS: Our outdoor collection is waterproof so it makes cleaning a breeze!

Yes, the fabrics are fully washable. For most stains or spills, we recommend spot cleaning with a wet/dry vacuum (like a carpet cleaner), mild detergents, and gentle stain removers such as Vanish. The covers are also fully machine washable—however, you’ll need to decant the bead or SoLuxe™️ filling using our Funnelweb®️ Zip & Tip system and re-fill it after washing. Machine washing is best reserved for major spills; for everyday care, spot cleaning is highly effective.

Yes. With no hard edges, a low-profile design, and tough yet tactile fabrics, it’s a favourite for families. The base is anti-slip, and the covers are robust enough to handle little ones and furry companions alike.
What fabrics are used in the interiors range of the Butterfly Sofa?

We use high-end, heavy-duty upholstery fabrics—including polyester-viscose blends and premium weaves such as Keystone Grey (linen blend). All our fabrics are much thicker, more durable, and more refined than typical soft furniture or bean bag materials—chosen to meet the demands of both designers and daily life.
Will the Butterfly Sofa lose its shape over time?

Not at all. The internal elastic system and compartmentalised filling are engineered to hold form—delivering long-lasting structure and elegance. You can also easily top up the filling if needed to refresh the loft and support.
Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too! For returns, please note that there are return fees that must be settled by the customer.

Please also understand that a product may only be returned within the 14 days after purchase. Item/s must also be in good condition, not have any damages, stains or marks.
